Happy New Year! The RedRoom Cinema record got a nice review here on punknews.org I've been keeping busy teaching, working on some records, and writing songs with my band. More about that soon.

June 2nd, 2007

Andy Bosnak is kicking some tail at Playground Studio!
Serengeti - chaotic deconstruction/reconstruction. Andy Bosnak and Serengeti are crafting a wild record. Hip Hop with lots of sonic details. Tons of fun and it will soon be finished. Look for a release from the fine folks at Bonafyde.
The Lavellas new record is freaking Andy out. In a good way. The guys are all very proud to watch this record take shape. Each session is going very well. They're so happy with how it's coming along. They've tracked 15 songs and are now in the overdub stages. vocals, guitars, and fun stuff.
Eschatol made a great 4 song ep in two days! Mathy intricate post rock with unique sounds. holy !@! I posted 2 new songs on the music page.
Balloonatic- ep is done. ROCK with a great combination of classic and modern influence. The love comes through in the music.

April 2nd, 2007

We’re keeping busy with great music at The Playground Studio.

Serengeti! What a crazy bunch! Throw together an experienced hip-hop artist with great lyrics, two indie rock dudes writing music. Oh, then add Pablo - some bass player from the world of experimental, house, industrial, latin, and jazz. You end up with one of the most unique records I’ve worked on. ‘Marry Your Affair’ has been tons of fun and it will soon be finished. Look for a release from the fine folks at Bonafyde.

Eschatol will soon grace The Playground with beautiful heavy post rock. I’ve recently become a big fan of this band. Most of the band members’ names start with J. ?!@#@%^*? They are unique and they have something to say, but use almost no vocals. This is what made them win the free weekend of recording at Playground. I can’t wait to start working with this group.

The Lavellas are coming in to start their new full-length record on April 6th, 2007. Their new songs are very impressive. These three are really stepping it up for this one. I’m very excited to get to work on this one. Cool, trippy, spacey, pop. ROCK!

Redroom Cinema’s new record turned out great and will be released soon. This is a beautiful dynamic record. Pretty post rock that’s mostly instrumental. I posted their song ‘At Long Last…’ on the music page.

The guys from Balloonatic are  kick ass and it really shows in their sincere songs. Their ep has been a blast to work on and it’s really coming together. Bold, dope, unique rock and roll with a variety of modern and classic influence.

The Bones Brothers record ‘Life, Death, and Fair Weather Friends’ is about to be released. This is a classy rock record from some fine people.

I finished a fine ep filled with hot rod rock from The Bonneville Flats. ‘Fifteen to One’ turned out great and I will post a song soon.

Beautiful Chaos. This is my Celestial life at The Playground!#%$^%**

Today I will finish the forthcoming ep from Bonneville Flats. This is going to be an elegant demo. So fun to work with these guys on their music.

More kick ass projects coming my way. I’m excited to announce that I will be doing a lot of work on the forthcoming full length from The Lavellas. We are now starting preproduction and this is going to be a stunning record. I can’t wait to start working with these fine folks again.

Chaos can be beautiful! A great example is Serengeti. This is four kick ass people with different voices coming together to make some dope unique music. I’m so fortunate to be recording and co-producing  the new record by Serengeti. It’s gonna be off the heeeeezy!#%** Playground and Serengeti rock sound.

Holy !@#!%**! Balloonatic will be with me at Playground to start their new ep. I can’t wait to be with these guys again. HUGE rock beauty from this power trio. It’s been years and they bring it more than ever. Such sweethearts.

The Timeout Drawer is writing some kick ass new material. We are playing a show soon!

January 28th, 2007 - The Redroom Cinema mixes were finished last week and this record is beautiful! When it's mastered  I will post some songs on the music page. Bonneville Flats came in to Playground on January 20th and 21st to record a super cool hotrod rock and roll demo. Classic sounds and unique entertaining songwriting. Bones Brothers will come to Playground this weekend to finish mixes and master their full length record. It will be fun to hang out with these guys again. We'll finish their classic rock-influenced record and it's going to be super dope!

Serengeti will  be at Playground  February 9th -11th to start recording a rock, hip hop record. Or whatever you want to call it. I call it Serengeti. I call it good writing. They have something to say. They think. It's going to be cool. I'm really excited about producing this record with my friends.

I'm having lots of fun writing some kick ass rock songs with The Timeout Drawer. I'm still teaching labs for audio students at Music Industry Workshop.

see you soon. Lots of love - Andy B

January 5th, 2007 - Happy New Year! My holidays were awesome. Now the holidays are over. Back to work!

HOLY !@!.@!.$&*!! The Playground

The Playground Recording Studio is fully back up and running. If you are at all familiar with us then you can imagine our excitement to be back at it full time. Keith Cleversley and I are making some additions to our gear and yes, the studio is even more dope.

Red Room Cinema mixes turned out great. Mostly instrumental (I know) emotional post rock. It's a beautiful record from some beautiful people.

Right now I'm mixing the Bones Brothers record. These guys are so awesome to work with. Lots of fun and laid back and tasteful. The mixes are going very well and we are adding some super cool overdubs. It's going to be an elegant classic rock record.

Serengeti will soon be in to do a rock, hip hop record. Or whatever you want to call it. I call it Serengeti. I call it good writing. They have something to say. They think. It's going to be cool. I'm really looking forward to producing this record with my friends.

Bonneville Flats will soon grace Playground with their old-timey, classic rock and honey tones. First a demo. Later a full length.

More big projects in the works for the near future.

I can fucking make anything happen!

Lots of love - andy b

December 5th, 2006 - Wow! Lots of big exciting news in my life. Just a glimpse for now. Keith Cleversley and I have fully re-opened The Playground Studio. Dreams are coming true! I recorded some vocals and guitars at Playground last weekend with Bones Brothers. We used our new Coles 4038 for Joe's vocals and the tracks sounded great! I also helped sing some backup vocals; gang-style. One of their songs needed organ, so I played that. Cool! The Bones Brothers record is really taking a nice shape. Red Room Cinema will soon be back at Playground to finish mixing their LP. These mixes are sounding great and will soon get even better. We have been so busy doing lots of great projects at Playground. More news soon.

October 19, 2006 - I'm excited to start mixing the new Red Room Cinema record at Playground. We will be working October 27th and 28th. The Bones Brothers record got off to a good start.

August 8, 2006 - I put a couple new Quanta songs up on the music page. Check them out. 3 good friends of mine who make up a cool band. Quanta had me mix and master their music at The Playground.
